Financial consultant Marty Byrde, along with his wife and other family members, is forced to move from Chicago to the small resort town of Ozark in Missouri. The reason for the sudden relocation is a large financial debt. He used his brilliant talent as a financier to launder drug cartel money over the years. Marty hopes the new location will change his financial situation for the better.
At the beginning of each episode of the series lies its encrypted content: four pictograms placed inside the letter “O”.
