Tokyo, 1989. Lucy, a follower of a rather closed life a few years ago, escaped from family problems and moved to Japan, where she works as a translator. When a woman’s hand is found in the Tokyo Strait, the girl becomes suspected of the premeditated murder of her friend, Lily. During the interrogation, she tells the police how she met the charming photographer Teiji on the street, how she introduced him to her friend Lily, who was generally his antipode, and how their friendship developed.
This thriller is based on the book of the same name by Susan Jones, who lived in Japan for some time, so the entourage and culture of the Land of the Rising Sun are well conveyed in both the book and the movie.
