Sound director Jack while recording the soundtrack for the film, inadvertently witnesses a car accident during which the US presidential candidate dies. The whole trouble is that he accidentally recorded a voice that excludes the possibility that this was an accident. Now he and the girl who survived the car accident are in danger.

The thriller “Blow Out” is one of the early works of the much-loved director Brian De Palma (author of the films: “Scarface”, “The Untouchables”, “Carlito’s Way”). Interestingly, the movie was not well received by critics, it was rented, but it stood the test of time and took a worthy place among the classic films of this genre quite rightly.
