A minimalist thriller by Spanish director David Victori, which is stylistically similar to – “Good Time” by the brothers Safdie and “Victoria” by Sebastian Schiffer
A decent and naive Dani who wears glasses is taking care of a dying father. After the death of his father, his sister Laura advises that now that their bedridden father has no more, he should do what he always wanted to do and travel around the world. There seems to be nothing in front of him to make his dream come true, but the introvert Danis plans are ruined when he meets a passionate and tattooed Mila at a night bar.
For novice director David Victori, this is the second full-length film. Worth noting is the strong cinematographic work with a continuous shot effect, the convincing acting of Mario Casas and of course the director’s distinctive narrative manner.
