A series about domestic violence and the fate of women in the modern world.
The action takes place in a small town where the murder took place. Police are investigating, but it is unclear who the victim is and what happened. The plot of the series goes back several months and tells the story of the lives of five families who are somehow connected to this murder.
Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman, who also co-produced the series, became so friendly during filming that Witherspoon even bought a house in Kidman’s neighborhood in Nashville.
