French “Family Comedy” – about multiculturalism, tolerance and family values.
The protagonists of the film Mr. Verneuil and his wife – a noble French couple, as well as the parents of four beautiful daughters. As is often the case, the main problem of such a family is the timely marriage of daughters, although in this regard the Verneuil family has no problem. Three daughters have already found their love. But the parents think they are unlucky in their sons-in-law: one is Chinese, the other is Arab, and the third is Jewish. When the fourth daughter announces the good news of her marriage, they look forward: who will be their new son-in-law ..?
The French are good at joking about “painful” topics such as racism and pc culture while maintaining moderation, and when famous French comedians are involved, it becomes especially funny.
