Tom Brannick has been a law enforcement officer all his life and now is on a well-deserved pension. An experienced veteran has seen many things, arrested many culprits, and looked in the eyes of the death many times. In 1998, while still a young investigator, he came in contact with a maniac who was liquidating opponents of the Irish Peace Treaty while leaving photos at the crime scene.
Since then a lot of time has passed, the country has changed. When the police recover a precious car from the bottom of the sea, the veteran suspects that this case is related to a crime committed in the past.
