PM2.5 filter


PM (Particular matter) solid particles. 2.5 – diameter 2.5 micrometers (microns). Contaminated solids vary in size – the smaller the particle, the more harmful it is to your health.

PM2.5 is a filter (maintains efficiency for 24 hours with continuous consumption and approximately 7 days with normal consumption), which improves the filtration efficiency of the facemask, especially against the smallest aerosol particles. The filter is efficient against the particles with a diameter of 2.5 microns or less. Coronavirus particles are spherical with a diameter of about 0.125 microns. The smallest particles are 0.06 microns and the largest are 0.14 microns.

The PM2.5 filter with the facemask can block most airborne particles, including 90% of fine aerosols.
