The action takes place in Germany in the late twenties of the 20th century, before the Nazis came to power. Police Commissioner Gereon Rath is investigating a variety of crimes in Berlin, ranging from murder to drug trafficking. The protagonist notices how society is changing, and how events such as emancipation and extremism are coming to the fore.
“Babylon-Berlin” is one of the most expensive TV series in Europe, in terms of quality it is not inferior to the same “Netflix” products, in which the famous director Tom Tykwer owes a large share.. The pre-war Berlin entourage is so well and naturally created, the audience is immersed in these exciting times and events from the very beginning.
