An atmospheric and icy thriller about friends stranded on a chairlift at a winter resort.

Three friends come to the winter resort to ski and spend time together. On Sunday evening they climb the ropeway crane to the nearest mountain for skiing, while the crane operator fails to notice them and shuts off the power source. The mechanism is off, the lights are dimmed all around the perimeter. Friends find themselves in the face of deadly freeze a few meters from the ground.

The film was shot in February 2009 at one of America’s oldest ski resorts, Snowbasin. The film’s director and screenwriter – Adam Green and cameraman – Will Barrett took the crane scenes without the help of others because the technical crew felt sick because of the height. It is also noteworthy that the film was shot “live”: in nature, without the use of a green screen and special effects. The actors really had to spend some time in the chairlift hanging on the mountain slope 15 meters above the ground.
