What drives a maniac? Why does he kill? How does he choose a victim? To find out, the Federal Bureau of Investigation set up a behavioral division in the 1970s, with Bill Hagmaier becoming an exceptionally successful employee. Prior to his success and recognition, he recorded lengthy interviews with famous murderers and maniacs.
